2nd phase
Sapphire's landscape, with its mountains, its lawns, its majestic forests, its characteristic and typical architecture, is for us the absolute protagonist of the project. Starting from this axiom, the challenge project involved the design of a building that would allow to achieve the functional program as defined and required by the competition requests but at the same time was able to preserve the beauty of the landscape and its context.
From this imperative need were set the following objectives:
minimal visual clutter of the structure;
contextualisation with the characteristics of the mountainous landscape and architecture;
Introjection of the landscape in various activities;
Independence of functions;
Definition of open squares for each independent and autonomous activity;
Sustainable economic and environmental.
