TOWN COMPLEX SCHOOL
"MENO E' PIU'" COMPETITION
Rome (Italy)
2008
Contest for the design of a school complex in a particular area at the borders of Romes periphery. A sign that contains everything. A rounded building that seems supported only on one side, the other one is free to the landscape. The supported part guarantees connections between the different parts of the area, giving a continuum to the paths while the suspended part underlines its diversity from the field that doesnt touch but catches through perspectives and views. An architectural structure designed as a building unit that contains inside the functions needed from the program dividing in three main sectors: the civic center, the kindergarten and the nursery school.
